IT that works as hard as you do

Klout Computing Services delivers hardware, software, managed IT, and infrastructure projects to businesses across South Africa — with certified expertise, direct communication, and a practical bias toward getting things done properly.

Our story

Klout was founded with a simple observation: most South African businesses don't need a massive IT department. They need a team they can trust to keep things running, make good technology decisions, and be there when something goes wrong.

We started by helping small and mid-sized companies get their IT foundations right — reliable networks, proper backups, secure endpoints, and sensible standards. As our clients grew, so did our capabilities. Today we partner with leading technology vendors to deliver everything from cloud migration and VoIP to managed IT services, procurement, and strategic consulting.

We are not interested in creating dependency through confusion. We prefer documented environments, straightforward recommendations, and relationships that last because the work holds up, not because the client is trapped.

We are also not a call centre. When you work with us, you are dealing with people who understand infrastructure, risk, licensing, and delivery. That changes the quality of every conversation.

What we believe

Good IT should feel calm

When systems are well designed and well maintained, the business notices stability, not noise. Fewer surprises is a feature, not an accident.

Documentation matters

A network that only makes sense to the last person who touched it is a liability. We value clean handover, clear records, and repeatable standards.

Vendors are tools, not strategy

Strong platforms matter, but they only create value when selected for the right reason and implemented properly inside your operating reality.

Practical beats fashionable

We do not recommend technology because it is trendy. We recommend what solves the problem, fits the budget, and can be supported long term.

What sets us apart

Vendor-certified engineers

Our team holds certifications across Veeam, Cisco, Microsoft, 3CX, HP, and Ubiquiti. We don't guess — we know the platforms inside out.

Single point of contact

Hardware, software, networking, cloud, phones, and support — all from one team. No finger-pointing between vendors.

Built for South Africa

We design for our realities: load shedding, bandwidth constraints, local compliance, and the cost pressures of doing business here.

Proactive management

We monitor, patch, and maintain your systems before problems surface. Prevention is cheaper than downtime — and less stressful.

Who we work best with

Growing operations

Businesses that are adding users, sites, systems, and security requirements faster than their current IT model can absorb.

Teams that need backup

Internal IT managers or administrators who want a dependable partner for projects, escalations, vendor management, and specialist expertise.

Companies tired of patchwork IT

Organisations with too many suppliers, too little documentation, and too much uncertainty about what would happen if something failed tomorrow.

How we work

01

Understand

We learn your business, your current IT, and where the gaps are. No assumptions.

02

Plan

A clear proposal with scope, timeline, budget, priorities, and dependencies. You approve before anything starts.

03

Deliver

Implementation on schedule, with minimal disruption and proper testing. We do not consider the job done when the invoice is sent.

04

Support

Ongoing monitoring, maintenance, lifecycle planning, and helpdesk. We stay close enough to keep standards from slipping over time.

Capabilities across the stack

We are comfortable at the strategy level, in the server room, and in the day-to-day support queue. That range lets us connect decisions to execution.
